I am taking a Floor Camera view from inside of a room that has an Open Below area above or below it, or in a room where I have unchecked Ceiling Over this Room on the Structure tab of the Room Specification dialog, and in my interior camera views, I see sky above or my terrain material below.
How can I see the underside of the roof plane for my vaulted ceiling or open above area, or the floor in the area below?
The Floor Camera tool is intended to create a view of the current floor only, hence its name. The ceiling and anything above it is not generated, and neither is anything below the floor.
Instead, use the Full Camera tool, which does not have the F on the icon, to create multi-floor views of the 3D model.
The Full Camera tool can be used to create both interior and exterior perspectives and is ideal for for displaying cathedral ceilings, roofs, lofts, stairwell openings, and other variation in floor and ceiling levels.
