QUESTION

I downloaded a library catalog on your web site that I want to add to my program library, but when I try to import it, a Warning message tells me:

"The library "x" has an invalid version number and cannot be read. Changes made to the library will not be saved during this session."

What is wrong?

ANSWER

This Warning message will appear if you try to import a library catalog file that was created for a program version newer than the program version you are using.

For example, if you are using Chief Architect X3 and try to import a .calibz file offered for Chief Architect X5, this Warning message will display and the catalog will not be imported.

To avoid this Warning, make sure that you only download and import library content that is specifically described as being for your program title and version.
