All of my line styles appear to look the same, as solid, instead of dashed, lines. They appear indistinguishable from each other. Why?
Line weight scaling affects both line weights and line styles, and can be particularly noticable with dashed line styles.
To adjust Line Weight Scaling
- Select File> Print> Page Setup
from the menu to open the Page Setup dialog.
- Near the bottom left corner of the dialog box, uncheck the Automatic box under Line Weight Scale, then click OK.
Checking the option for Automatic is not normally recommended. The reason to check Automatic is to have the program specify the line weight scale, and adjust it, to maintain line thickness and dash size when the drawing scale is changed.
This feature was added for better interoperability between the Chief Architect professional program and the Better Homes and Gardens Home Designer software.
