I would like to know which operating system my version of Chief Architect is designed to run on.

  While it may be possible to operate Chief Architect on a computer running an operating system other than the ones mentioned in this article, Chief Architect, Inc. will not support any configuration that is not listed below.

Chief Architect Premier X5 (2012)

* 64-bit is only supported on:

  • Windows 8 (64-bit)

  • Windows 7 (64-bit)

  • Windows Vista (64-bit)

* 32-bit is only supported on:

  • Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit)

  • Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)

  • Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit)

  • Windows XP - Service Pack 3 or newer (32-bit only)

Chief Architect Premier X4, released in 2011

* 64-bit was only supported on:

  • Windows 7 (64-bit)
