QUESTION

How can I make my text appear thicker, or heavier?

ANSWER

The "weight," "thickness" or "heaviness" of text is determined by the font that is being used.

You can specify the text as Bold or increase the character height; however, if you do not wish to do either, you will need to select a different font.

All of these tasks can be accomplished in the Rich Text Specification, or Text Specification dialog for a particular text object, or in the Text Defaults dialog for all text objects created in the future in the current plan or layout file.
