ANSWER

The method for changing elevation number size depends on the version of the program you are using.

To change the size of terrian elevation numbers in Version X1 and newer:

  1. Open the Chief Architect plan in which you would like to change the size of the terrain elevation numbers.

  2. Click the Select Objects  button, then click on the Terrain Perimeter to select it and click the Open Object  edit button.

  3. On the Contours tab of the Terrain Specification dialog:

    • Specify the desired Character Height value.

    • If you need a specific printed character size, click the Scale button and specify the desired print scale and print size.

    • Click OK to close the dialog and apply your changes.
