QUESTION

I have a base cabinet in my plan that I would like to have generate a backsplash.  How can I accomplish this task?

ANSWER

To add a backsplash to a base cabinet

  1. First, launch Chief Architect and Open  the plan in which you want to apply the backsplash to the cabinet.

  2. Select Build> Cabinet> Base Cabinet  and click in the drawing area to place the base cabinet object.

  3. Using the Select Objects  tool, select the cabinet, and click on the Open Object  edit button to display the Base Cabinet Specification dialog.

  4. On the General tab, you can set the Backsplash Height and Thickness.

Check Always Present if you always want the backsplash to display, otherwise the backsplash only displays when the cabinet is against a wall.
