QUESTION

I would like to be able to add a closed polyline to which I have applied a fill style to my Library Browser to use in future plans.  How can I accomplish this task?

ANSWER

To add a closed filled polyline to the Library Browser

  1. Using the Select Objects  tool, click and drag a marquee around the entire enclosed polyline that you have applied a fill style to.

  2. Once you have marquee selected the object, click on the Make CAD Block  edit button.

  3. After the closed polyline has been blocked to itself, creating a CAD Block, then click on the Add to Library  edit button to add it to the Library Browser.

  4. If you find in the future in a new plan that you need to make modifications to this closed polyline after you have placed it from the Library Browser, simply select it and click on the Explode CAD Block  edit tool to allow for editing.
