How do I remove Chief Architect from a computer, and is there anything that I need to do before I uninstall?
At times, it is necessary to uninstall a program from a computer to resolve conflicts or to delete corrupted system files. This article presents the steps required to remove Chief Architect from your computer.
To uninstall Chief Architect in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Vista
- Click on the Start button, and select Control Panel
- Select Programs.
- Click on Programs and Features.
- Select the Chief Architect program and select either Uninstall or Change.
If you select Change, then you will be prompted with another dialog which will allow you to remove the software.
- If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
To uninstall Chief Architect in Windows XP
- Close all programs and return to the Windows Desktop.
- From the Desktop, click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- In the list of programs, locate Chief Architect and click it once to select it.
- If you have more than one version of Chief Architect installed on the computer, make sure that you select the correct version number.
- If you have more than one version of Chief Architect installed on the computer, make sure that you select the correct version number.
- Click on Remove.
Note: If prompted to remove shared files, click No to All.
