How to Rotate an Elevation View on a Layout Page

How do I rotate an elevation after it has been sent to a layout sheet? The elevation is already on my layout, I just want to be able to select it and rotate it.
While they can be resized or moved, 3D views such as elevation views cannot be rotated on a layout page. If you would like an elevation view to be rotated, send it to layout in a different format.
To rotate a 3D layout view:
- Launch Chief Architect and Open
the Chief Architect .plan that you want to create a rotated elevation view of.
- In Chief Architect X2 and newer versions, select 3D> Create Orthographic View> Cross Section/Elevation
and click and drag a camera arrow to create the desired view.
- In Chief Architect X1 and prior versions, from the menu select 3D> Create Vector View> Cross Section/Elevation

- In Chief Architect X1 and prior versions, from the menu select 3D> Create Vector View> Cross Section/Elevation
- In the Cross Section/Elevation view, select CAD> CAD Detail from View
from the menu.
- CAD Detail from View, often referred to as View to CAD, automatically converts your image into a line drawing and places this drawing in a CAD Detail window.
- This CAD Detail window also opens automatically, allowing you to perform any needed editing.

- In the CAD Detail window, select File> Send to Layout
from the menu.
- In the Send to Layout dialog, specify the desired drawing scale for this view and the layout page that you would like to send it to, then click OK.
- Click the Window menu and select your layout file from the bottom of the menu to return to the layout window. Browse to the page that you just sent your view to.
- Click on the view to select it, then use the triangular Rotate
edit handle to rotate the view as needed.
