Instructor: Brad Dorscher
Brad Dorscher has over twenty five years experience in residential and light commercial construction, specializing in remodeling. In his construction career, Brad has taken many projects from the initial design consultation and planning phases to the drafting board, forward through the permit process, and then worked hands-on to completion.
Knowing that the physical work would eventually take its toll, and desiring to get into computer-aided drawing, Brad worked evenings and weekends to become computer literate in the mid-1990’s. With this knowledge, he was able to secure a position with Software Spectrum, a Microsoft partner company, as a Technical Support Analyst supporting Microsoft’s “Windows” operating systems and applications. Brad worked with Software Spectrum for five years.
Brad was offered the opportunity to apply with Chief Architect as a Technical Support Analyst and joined our team of professionals in September of 2003. While working as a Technical Support Analyst, Brad was instrumental in the development of Chief Architect’s Comprehensive Accelerated Training Course for new employees, teaching real world construction concepts in conjunction with Chief Architect. Since that time, Brad has been the principle trainer for our new employees.
In May of 2004, Brad was invited to join the Interactive Training Team as a personal trainer. Brad assisted in the development of Chief Architect’s very successful Structured Online Training Course and went online teaching the Structured Online Training Course to our customers in November of 2004. He quickly became one of our top instructors and advanced to providing online Personal Training, providing individualized instruction to meet specific customer needs. Recently, Brad joined the ranks of our Classroom Seminar instructors, teaching courses at locations around the nation.
Brad believes that every day offers opportunities to learn and grow. He feels that if he can teach people the concepts behind how Chief Architect’s tools work and how to apply those concepts to their work, the sky is the limit for them, and he loves being a part of that empowering process.
