Instructor: Mont Stevenson
Mont Stevenson is the Interactive Training Coordinator for Chief Architect, where he oversees and provides one-on-one personal training over the Internet along with in-house training for our users and employees of Chief Architect. Mont helps them to better understand and be more proficient in the use of Chief Architect. He also assisted in the creation of Chief’s successful Personal Trainer program, which has benefited hundreds of our users.
Mont is a builder and has been in the construction trade for 30 years. Due to a severe injury, he had to change occupations and went back to school where he earned his Architectural Drafting Degree, and continued his education in the area of computers.
Mont is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). He has earned the Associates of Kitchen and Bath Design Certification (AKBD) through the NKBA.
Mont has worked for Chief Architect for six years. His knowledge and understanding of the construction trades, accompanied with his working knowledge of Chief Architect, has been a great asset for our training services and to our company. Mont has designed and created many of the Chief Sample Plans that are found in our latest versions of Chief Architect.
Mont serves on the Advisory Board for the Drafting Department for North Idaho College, and occasionally assists as a guest instructor, teaching Chief Architect to the drafting classes at North Idaho College. NIC was among the first of a growing number of schools to adopt Chief Architect into its curriculum, which has helped its drafting program to become very successful.
Mont’s position at Chief Architect as the Interactive Training Coordinator gives him the opportunity to work one-on-one with users all over the United States and in many other countries. His experiences as a classroom instructor, Chief Architect trainer, and many years in the field have developed his unique understanding of the professional needs of Chief Architect’s users and make him an invaluable resource for architects, builders, designers and remodelers. An avid user himself, Mont loves teaching others how to use Chief Architect. He enjoys working with users who are experiencing difficulties in various areas of the program, helping them to better understand Chief Architect and achieve the end result they are looking for.
