Advanced Skill Level

Scope

This seminar content is comprehensive in that the entire process of developing a design is covered. Other trainings may offer specialized content, covering certain aspects of the program, such as roofs or rendering.

This training covers the overall program, attempting to fit the complete puzzle together. This is done in introductory classes with very large pieces. Intermediate classes use smaller pieces and skip parts of the puzzle already understood, focusing on the more difficult elements. The advanced classes jump all over the place, never losing track of the big picture, focusing on the program aspects attendees choose.

Requirements:

Persons who feel proficient with the material on the Classroom Design Project Training Video product, are well practiced with use of the program for design work and have been regularly producing working drawings should consider an advanced training.

Content:

The advanced training provides an opportunity for advanced users to exchange knowledge with each other as well as the Chief Architect training staff.  Customers are encouraged to bring project files they want help with, or examples of solutions they’ve developed.  They are told to expect an informal atmosphere of mutual assistance, and fewer group presentations from the training staff, though staff is prepared to provide presentations on the desired topics.

At the outset, the entire group develops the agenda, with the Chief Architect trainer facilitating the process. As the training progresses, the Chief Architect trainer assesses the group’s collective skill level and attempts to adapt the training content and level of detail accordingly.

Skill levels allow increased flexibility in the order of items covered, and though the basic process for developing an entire model is loosely followed for many advanced classes, this may not be apparent to the observer.
