Creating a New Thread on ChiefTalk

I would like to post a question for other users of Chief Architect in the free online user forum, ChiefTalk. How can I do this?


To post a new thread to ChiefTalk you will need a Chief Architect online account. You may already have one if you have purchased a downloaded copy of the software. But if not, you can register a free Chief Architect account to gain access to the forums.

To register a new Chief Architect account

  1. Go to:

  2. Click on the My Account link in the top right corner.

  3. Click on the Sign up here link to go to the Sign up page.

  4. Fill out the Sign up form and click Submit.

  5. The system will send you an email containing a verification link. Click the link to verify your account and log in.

  6. Once you are logged into your account, click on Choose a Chief ID.

  7. Enter in the ID or user handle that you would like others to see when you post a thread.

To post a new thread on ChiefTalk

  1. Once you are logged into your Chief Architect account go to ChiefTalk and click into a discussion that you would like to post to.

  2. Click the Start New Topic button in the top right corner.

  3. Fill in a Topic Title and message then click the Post New Topic button.
