I would like to add multiple appliances to a cabinet, but when I try to do this a question message asks:
Why is this happening?
This message may display if you're attempting to insert an appliance on, or in, a cabinet where an appliance already exists. If this message displays, click Yes to replace the appliance with the appliance that is selected, or click No to cancel the operation.
In Chief Architect Premier, Home Designer Pro, and Home Designer 2026 and newer, you can insert multiple appliances into a single cabinet using the Cabinet Specification dialog. Legacy Home Designer products, however, will require you to place appliances into separate cabinets and then either place those cabinets side-by-side, or stack them.
