I'm having trouble downloading the Core catalogs for my program. How do I resolve the problem?

The most likely cause of a Library download failure is a firewall or security program preventing the download.

To add Chief Architect as an exception in your Mac firewall

  1. From the Apple menu select System Preferences.

  2. Within the System Preferences dialog, select Security & Privacy.

  3. Within the Security and Privacy dialog, select Firewall Options.

Note:  If this option is greyed out, click the lock in the bottom left of the dialog on the padlock icon in order to unlock this option.

  4. The Firewall Options dialog allows you to add or remove programs from the firewall list and configure how the firewall handles requests from these programs. Click the + sign at the bottom of the list to add a program.

  5. Select the desired application to be allowed through the firewall.

  6. Verify that the program is set to "Allow incoming connections".

  7. After clicking OK, attempt the library download again.
