11 Message: A wall designated Extend Slope Downward must connect at each end to two perpendicular walls.

The extend slope downward option in your wall specification dialog can be a useful feature in the right circumstance.

12 Message: A wall you are editing is an automatically generated attic wall.

Automatically generated attic walls are formed when there is a gap between a wall that defines a living space and the roof above it.

13 Message: An error occurred while loading the rendering shader. Your video card may not support this functionality.

This error is caused by a video card that does not accurately use render shading. This is typically seen in older video cards.

14 Message: An unexpected error occurred.

Some error occur because Home Designer encountered something unexpected. Follow these steps to get the right information to Technical Support.

15 Message: Area too constricted, could not position item here.

Having an area that is to small to accommodate a certain object will result in this message displaying.

16 Message: Attempt to access missing P-List 2300

If there is a wall segment that is one pixel in length or you have an object in your plan that is not in your library browser this error may appear.

17 Message: Can't display 3D symbol.

This message will display if you open a plan file created in an old program version - typically, Chief Architect 7 and prior or 3D Home Architect version 3 or 4.

18 Message: Cannot create a pier away from a wall.

19 Message: Cannot do room elevation or restricted camera view from this point.

This Information message will display if you try to use the Wall Elevation tool to create an exterior view of your model.

20 Message: Cannot find or open the file to save your plan.

Saving your plan or layout file to an appropriate location is a critical step in the file management process.
