When I launch the program, a message states:
What does this mean?
This message will appear if an update to your program version is available for download. It's recommended to install program updates when they become available, as they often contain fixes and feature enhancements.
Click Yes to proceed to the website and download the installer containing the update, or click No to launch the program.
You can also check for updates at any point by navigating to Help> Download Program Updates from within the program.
Program updates are not patches; when an update is installed, the prior iteration of the version you're updating is uninstalled and a newer iteration is installed using the installer file that was downloaded. For additional information on downloading and installing, please refer to the "Download and Installation Guide" located on the Product Documentation page.
Library content, preference settings, user-created files, and all other information associated with the program is not affected by program updates.
