CAD Details are special view windows for drawing, saving and organizing 2D drawings associated with the current plan or layout file, such as site plans and cross section details. They are listed in the CAD Detail Management dialog as well as in the Project Browser and can be created in both locations, as well. A collection of CAD elements can be blocked together and added to the Library Browser for use in future plans.
Add a filled closed polyline by group selecting the polyline, then make it a CAD block, and finally, add it to the Library Browser.
Backdrops are images that display behind the model in 3D views, and new backdrops can be created using a variety of graphic file formats.
Custom shaped polyline solids can be added to the Library Browser by first marquee selecting it, then making it into an Architectural Block, and then adding using the Add to Library edit tool.

If you are having trouble with your internet connection, or cannot download the entire Core Catalog, you can import the catalogs from the installation DVD following the instructions listed here.
If the core libraries are unable to be installed automatically using Library> Install Core Content, then they can be installed manually using the steps within this article.
Core, bonus, and manufacturer library content can be moved to a custom location in X10 and newer products.
